My backgrond in Social Anthropology provides me with a unique perspective for understanding user behaviors, needs, and cultural contexts.
To gain a genuine understanding of user behavior, I employ key ethnographic methods such as in-depth interviews and participant observation.
I validate every design proposal by testing it with real users, which guarantees that the final solutions truly meet user needs.
Over the past few years, I have collaborated with front-end, back-end developers, GIS specialists, stakeholders, and key users to develop user-centered applications. By taking on a diverse set of roles, including designer, researcher, product owner, and content planner, I have gained valuable adaptability and strong teamwork skills.

For this project, I designed a map application enabling users to access critical municipal risk information and create customized maps using various geographical layers overlaid with their projects. This streamlined operations for a municipal agency, significantly reducing their workload and providing instant access to up-to-date data layers.

One of the most complex and exciting projects I've been involved in was the digitalization of procedures and paperwork for urban development projects. This journey included obtaining approval from the municipal government. Despite this being my first real-world experience, the project was a success, resulting in an exceptional experience and valuable skills gained.
In 2020, I decided to delve into the world of UX/UI Design. While my passion has always been user research, I adopted a more general approach to expand my opportunities and gain insights into various areas. I completed several professional certifications, and although the projects I created at that time were not as polished as today's work, they served as my stepping stones.

For my Bachelor's Thesis, I conducted a qualitative research project on graffiti in Nezahualcoyotl municipality. I combined elements of urban anthropology and art anthropology to explore this topic. I employed various research methods, including ethnography, structured and informal interviews, direct and participatory observations. Through this experience, I developed proficiency in conducting these methods and became more adept at connecting with key informants.
